- Watch the eastern tent caterpillars crawl on branches and hide in their tents from predators
- Listen to the Canada geese warning everyone away from their nests
- Observe the trees budding out, making new leaves and blossoms for the year
- Sneak up quietly to a pond and spy the painted turtles basking in the sun
- Hike a nature trail for some quiet recreation
